Ham with Orange Pistachio Crumb Topping | Yummy Filipino Recipe's
whole (1 k. or more) ham, thawed
2 tbsp. orange peel
1/4 cup pistachio nuts, chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup fresh orange juice (from 2 oranges)
1/3 cup honey
1 tbsp. rum
Preheat oven to 350°F. Put ham with all the sugar-glazed gelatin in a baking pan. Combine all the crumb topping in a bowl and press onto top of ham. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Allow to boil and simmer until mixture slightly tightens. At serving time, slice ham and pour some of the glaze on the side.
