Katsudon | Yummy Filipino Recipe's

1/2 k. pork loin
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
salt & pepper to taste
1 egg, slightly beaten


1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsps. rice wine
3/4 cup soup stock
1/8 cup leeks, sliced
1/8 cup green peas
1/2 cup white onions, sliced

Heat oil. Put salt & pepper on pork loin. Coat pork loin with all purpose flour, dip in egg and then coat with breadcrumbs. Deep fry pork loin.

For Sauce: Put everything(except stock) in a pot stir until sugar is dissolved. Add in stock, simmer till vegetables are tender-crisp.

To Serve: In a pan, put in white onion, top with cut-up fried pork loin and put carrots, leeks, green peas. Pour 1/4 cup of the prepared sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes and add 1 whole scrambled egg.

In a bowl, prepare 1 cup cooked rice and top with prepared pork. Serve hot.
